The ukulele has been a traditional instrument when it was 1st introduced to the Island in 1870. Here at The Hawaiian Ukulele company is the first ukulele retail store in Oahu, opened by Calvin Nelson in early 1990s at Aloha Tower Market Place, Honolulu, Hawaii.
First, Calvin opened up small kiosk at Aloha Tower. After he opened up the shop there, big ukulele boom came again.
The Hawaiian Ukulele company is no longer than small kiosk but we have a beautiful store still at Aloha Tower Market Place. |
